The CAC Pirates Exhibition ended on the 11th May, 1996. The exhibition included the story of:

• 'BlackSam' Bellamy, Friend of the Pirate Blackbeard.
• The Pirate Ship 'The Whydah' and how it sank with all its Booty, in a storm off Cape Cod, New England, in 1717.
• How one man in the late 20th century decided to search out the truth behind the legends.
• How the wreck of 'The Whydah' was discovered, what was found, and how the story still goes on.
